Easy Steps To Weight Loss

Another major issue is that most diets are contradicting each others. Some insist on eating carbs, others tell you to avoid it like the plague. There are many effective weight loss tips, but most of them boil down to 6 simple rules.

Rules #1
You should eat more preferably 6 small meals a day every 2 hours. This will kick start your metabolism and ensure you burn of your weight quickly.

Rules #2
Eating more protein is advisable as research has shown that increase in intake of protein is tied directly with an increase in weight loss. However you should choose smart proteins. Preferably lean meats like chicken, fish and soy burgers. This will also help you recuperate from the gym much quicker.

Rules #3
Drinking a lot of water is a very important thing to do. While research has shown that the 8 glasses of water a day is a myth. It is still advisable to drink water aplenty. This helps to clear out toxins and also keeps you full so you don’t binge on food.

Rules #4
Cheating on your diet is a serious no-no. This is absolutely pointless since you will just end up feeling horribly guilty and become very harsh on yourself. This is especially harmful if your diet is aimed at short term loss. However if your diet is long term, then the circumstances change and you can allow cheat days which will allow you eat what you want in moderation.

Rules #5
You should become a teetotaler since most alcoholic drinks contain empty calories. Exercise is a very important tool since it will help you burn of excess fat and calories.

Rules #6
You should exercise for at least half an hour a day for five days a week.
